Frances Beves
Frances Beves is NIHR Director of Communications.
Working across NIHR's distributed structure, Frances is responsible for:
- communicating the value of translational, clinical and applied research
- raising awareness of the NIHR, its role, priorities and impact
- actively engaging NIHR people.
Frances has over 25 years' experience in healthcare communications. She was European Communications Director for Eli Lilly and Company for 10 years and has also worked in-house for GlaxoSmithKline and GE Healthcare. Frances also has experience of leading healthcare communications teams at major public relations consultancies in London and New York City.
