Adam Galloway is a NIHR Pre-doctoral Clinical Academic Fellow and a Senior Children’s Physiotherapist at Leeds Children’s Hospital. In these short videos Adam shares how he first made the move into a clinical academic career and his journey so far as part of the joint Health Education England and NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic Programme. He also shares some of his top tips for anyone considering getting involved in research as part of their career.

When asked if he would do anything differently if starting his research career again, Adam said: “I honestly don’t think I would. I am so grateful for the opportunities I have had, and excited to see where I get to, I don’t think I’d change anything that has happened because it’s helped me reach a position that I never thought I would be. I am always learning, and regularly rely on someone to guide me through some decisions, but I wouldn’t do anything differently.”
