Fostering collaboration
Complex and Innovative Design (CID) trials have the potential to shorten the drug development time line and get new treatments to patients faster. This is an attractive prospect for research charities like Kidney Research UK which have a strong connection with their patient community.
To that end, Kidney Research UK, has been pivotal in fostering relationships between the life sciences, academia and the NHS in recent years.
